For prototypes and low-to-medium production runs, yes. 3D printing eliminates the high setup costs of CNC machining and the labor hours of woodworking. However, for mass production (10,000+ castings), a traditional metal match plate may still be the standard choice. We are the ideal solution for urgent replacements, prototypes, and short-run batches.

Yes. We adjust the internal density (infill) and wall thickness of the print based on your foundry’s specific process (manual vs. machine molding). For high-pressure lines, we use high-strength materials like Glass/Carbon-Fiber PA6 with solid shells to ensure the pattern does not crush or deform.

It depends on the material selected:

  • Standard PLA: ~10-50 impressions (Ideal for prototypes).

  • Industrial ASA/ABS/PETG: ~100-500 impressions.

  • Carbon/Glass Fiber Composite (PA6,PETG): 500+ impressions (Comparable to some aluminum patterns for short runs).
